The first Passover was a picture of the deliverance Jesus has provided for every man, woman, and child throughout the course of human history. Passover pointed forward in time to when Jesus blood would defeat sin and death once and for all. His sacrifice demanded that the power of death, disease, and destruction pass over believers.

His sacrifice applied to the doorposts of your heart will bring to you the power of the Passover. It will separate you from the world and deliver you into a new life of God’s grace and fellowship. It will make available to you the same safety, good health, and ample provision the Israelites enjoyed the night God freed them from Egypt.

There is protection from danger and death in the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ!

That because, in the spirit, the blood of the Lamb has been sprinkled over your doorpost, destruction has to pass over you.

Protection is available to all believers. Hebrews 10:22 makes it clear. It tells us we can all “draw near to God with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water” (KJV). We can all have confidence that we’ve been delivered¾spirit, soul, and body¾from the grip of our enemy. We can all enjoy the assurance of God’s protective covering because Jesus’ blood was sprinkled for our deliverance from sin and death.

Satan cannot cross the line of the blood sacrifice of Jesus.

That supernatural line puts an end to the works of darkness. When we accept Jesus’ sacrifice and embrace His life, we walk out of bondage and step across that blood line into a new life in God. We take on a new identity as God’s special and holy people and we’re separated from the spirit and destruction of the world.

The Passover Lamb has become the mighty Lion of the tribe of Judah. He has risen to the highest place of power. He’s set us free to stand with Him confident and secure, safe from the enemy’s attacks, in supernatural peace and security.

When He’s on your side, you don’t have to fear what your enemies can do to you because from Satan’s point of view, you’ve become untouchable! As First John 5:18 says in The Message Bible, “The God-begotten are also the God-protected. The Evil One can’t lay a hand on them.”

Let this sink in!

You are untouchable and God-protected. Satan can’t lay a hand on you. He has no right to touch you, your family, your health, your money, or your property because the blood is on the doorposts of your heart. The Lamb of God has brought you under His umbrella of His protection, cleansed you, and given you the strength to overcome any strategy of the enemy. You are in the secret place of the Most High, covered with His love and light.

Just as Israel walked out of Egypt, you can walk out of any bondage and intoa life full of supernatural protection and provision. So, believe it and do it. Take your stand in that place of supernatural protection by faith in the sacrificial blood of Jesus. Become one of God’s untouchables.
